We had over 42 young people attend our 3 English classes this week. There has been such a high demand we have had to make a waiting list. We look forward to welcoming new young people in April.

It was great to welcome the British Red Cross for a 2-part workshop with our Empowered English class. The group learnt about strategy, about the BRC and developed their own project ideas for what they should offer young refugees and asylum seekers plus learnt how to pitch/present this to the group. All the ideas will be taken forward and developed further. What an opportunity for our young people to have a real impact.

Finally - any laptops or good working phones lying around? We are urgently in need of any to make these classes accessible.
